This revolutionary new car is a fully engineered, compact yet roomy four-seater. The 848 c.c. 4-cylinder o.h.v. engine which develops 34 b.h.p. at 5,500 r.p.m. is mounted transverseley the drive being transmitted to the front wheels through two short shafts. Capable of 70 m.p.h. roadholding and controlability are ensured by remarkable power/weight ration and low centre of gravity contributed to by 10" wheels. Simply but attractively styled, economical to run (50 m.p.g. at 50 m.p.h.), easy to handle, the Morris Mini-Minor is an ideal small family car.
